Process Underway To Possibly Discipline, Expel Speaker Madigan

A House committee is starting the process that could lead to the formal discipline or possible expulsion of Speaker Michael Madigan.  Madigan has been implicated in an alleged bribery scheme involving members of his inner circle.  Madigan maintains that he has done nothing wrong and is not facing any criminal charges.  He is the longest serving state legislative leader in American history.
