There are ten new positive cases of COVID-19 on the University of Illinois Springfield campus. The cases were reported last week, along with two more off-campus cases. UIS Chancellor Karen Whitney says the low number of positives out of over 12-hundred tests shows that students are doing what’s needed to keep each other safe. Whitney also said positive cases are inevitable, but the main goal is to continue with in-person education for those who want it.
