Children’s Museum of Illinois to Remain Shuttered

Indoor entertainment venues are set to reopen Friday.  Businesses like movie theaters and bowling alleys have been closed in Illinois since March, however, one area attraction will not be opening. A message posted to the Children’s Museum of Illinois’ Facebook Page Wednesday afternoon brought sad news. The message reads: “Due to current restrictions within Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan, the Children’s Museum of Illinois will remain closed.” The message does go on to say that they are currently working with state officials to determine their next steps, and does go on to say that they miss their guests and cannot wait to welcome you back.
