Decatur Township will be voting on whether or not to allow marijuana dispensaries in the city. The Decatur City Council voted against allowing dispensaries in the city last year.
Council members say the advisory referendum will give them an idea of what the community wants. In order for the issue to be added to the agenda, four out of six council members, the mayor, or the city manager would have to agree to bring it up.
