A Decatur man was attacked by a man with a knife who was demanding money. On Tuesday, the suspect was let into the victim’s residence on East Eldorado by a roommate. The man then left and returned shortly after and was seemingly under the influence of drugs.
Soon after the suspect and the victim were left alone when the suspect asked for $20. When the victim said he didn’t have any money, the suspect pulled out the knife, held it to the victim’s throat and threatened his life.
The victim escaped, but not before being cut twice. He had an 8-10 inch laceration on his arm, and also had a cut on his right thumb.
