This past week, Illinois State Police were at the Capitol building executing a search warrant pertaining to an investigation into sexual misconduct against a former state representative. Madigan’s office received a complaint in November of 2018 which involved the former state representative and an employee.
The allegations were found to be credible in February 2019. Illinois State Police reached out to Madigan’s office in January requesting documents related to the investigation.
