Starting today, Illinois Charter will begin a Regional connector service to and from Decatur. Decatur residents are able to link to Amtrak services in Springfield and Champaign as well as a service to and from Peoria.
This comes after the Decatur City Council pointed out a need to set up commuter services that tie-in Decatur with Champaign and Springfield.
Departure and arrival trips will be available daily at the Senator Severns Center at 353 East Williams Street.
