A man is accused of giving police officers false information related to a shooting death. Avery Drake told police he was unsure of what caused the shooting that led to the death of Jayson Goodbred. He further stated that he never saw a person with a firearm inside of the hotel room.
A witness said they believe Drake witnessed the shooting, which happened with Drake, Goodbred and two others in the room.
Drake pleaded not guilty to his charge of obstructing justice on Wednesday.
