On Friday night police arrested a man after a high-speed chase in Decatur. Just after 8 p.m. an officer attempted to pull a vehicle over for a routine traffic stop when the driver sped off.
20-year-old Jacquez Jones was apprehended at the intersection of Forest and McClellan Avenues.
Jones now faces a charge of aggravated fleeing and eluding law enforcement. Police also discovered that Jones had a warrant for attempted murder.
