A Decatur man was arrested after discharging a firearm outside of White Oaks Mall in Springfield. William Harper was taken into custody on Sunday. The mall was placed on lockdown, but there were no injuries reported from the incident.
Harper is being held on preliminary charges which include: reckless discharge of a firearm, aggravated assault involving the discharge of a firearm, disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing on mall property and unlawful use of a weapon.
