On Thursday the Decatur Township Board of Trustees took a vote. Now, a referendum that will ask voters if they support recreational marijuana sales in Decatur will be added to the ballot.
The referendum was passed by a vote of three for yes, one vote of present and one absent.
The referendum will be non-binding, which means that the city council would not be obligated to act based on the outcome of the public vote.
It will appear on the ballot on March 17th.
