A 27-year-old Decatur man on trial for attempted murder, weapons charges and aggravated battery has had charges against him dropped. Jamaal Jackson had plead not guilty to the charges. An integral witness to the trial, one of two witnesses who were shot, gave opposing stories to the events of the shooting.
Charges could be re-filed against Jackson if circumstances change in the future.
