The victim of 25-year-old Blake Lunardi gave her testimony in court on Monday. Lunardi has been charged with aggravated battery, aggravated sexual assault, aggravated unlawful restraint, criminal damage and domestic battery.
The victim, Lunardi’s ex-girlfriend, said that the two had broken up in June of 2018. Lunardi showed up to her house in August asking to talk but refused to leave. After destroying household items, he then allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened her life before raping her.
The trial is ongoing.
