Macon County Courthouse security were forced to step in between a woman who went after her ex-boyfriend.
Monday afternoon, the 26-year-old woman attacked her ex-boyfriend, also 26, while leaving a hearing that involved the couple’s child.
Once the two got outside, she then stole the man’s cell phone and began to hit the man in the face, as well as his arm. Security then separated the two. The woman left the scene in an ambulance after alleging the man threw her to the ground. Deputies did not observe the man retaliating.
She has been charged with domestic battery causing bodily harm.
