A man from Decatur has been sentenced to five year in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of residential burglary. Zachary Batson had charges of home invasion and attempted murder dropped before pleading guilty to residential burglary.
Batson was arrested for his part in a shooting that injured a 52-year-old, who survived. Two of his accomplices are currently awaiting trial.
