The bill that would set a cap on insulin prices has passed the House and the Senate and will now head for Governor Pritzker’s desk. It passed the House 100-13-1 and passed the Senate 43-1.
If passed, Illinois would become the second state to set a cap on insulin prices. The cap on co-payments would be $100 for commercial insurance plans that the state regulates.
