The FBI are now investigating former Meridian superintendent Dan Brue. Brue has been accused of embezzling $250,000 from the district. His phone has been seized as evidence.
The investigation has now included Bement, where Brue served as superintendent before taking the job at Meridian. Brue resigned back on July 26th. Andy Pygott, who was the Meridian middle school principal, has been serving as superintendent.
