Members from the Decatur Federation of Teaching Assistants held a rally in front of the Keil Administration Building yesterday.
Members of the union began their strike today after no agreement was reached in contract talks.
The rally was centered around insurance premiums that DFTA members say are too high.
DFTA members plan on continuing the strike until a deal is reached.
