A 30-year-old man was fatally shot at North Van Dyke and West King St. Friday.
A 23-year-old was arrested on preliminary charges for the murder of Ernest wren. Another man was shot in the incident but his injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
Deonta Merriweather was the man identified as the shooter.
His preliminary charge is for first degree murder, an investigation into the showing is ongoing.
