Decatur police responded to the intersection of Decatur and Edward Streets in response to a man threatening people with a firearm.
Police then located the vehicle of Jacquez Jones, which was parked at the Macon County Courthouse and they found a pistol and 1 1/2 ounces of crack cocaine. The gun had been reported as stolen.
Jones was in the courthouse Wednesday morning and he was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and three counts of possession of a stolen firearm.
