Authorities released the name of a woman whose vehicle was struck by a train in Taylorville.
Blue Mound resident Pamela McPherson was at a railroad crossing at South Shumway Street when a train collided with her vehicle. She was taken to Taylorville Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
