Two people were shot Thursday afternoon at Woodford and Running Reds Streets. This incident caused multiple roads to be closed. The shooting did not involve students of Stephen Decatur Middle School.
A man and a woman, both 26, were the victims of the shooting. The woman was treated and released from a local hospital. The man was also treated for a non life-threatening wound.
To respond to the shooting, Stephen Decatur Middle School was put on soft lockdown.
