AC Campbell, a Decatur man, has been charged with attempted murder stemming from a man being shot over the weekend. Campbell and the victim got into an altercation but Campbell eventually left with a woman. He then returned in a car to the 1400 block of East North Street with an unknown man. The second man then discharged his firearm towards the house where the altercation took place.
The victim was hit in the leg and made his way to a neighbor’s house and waited until the two were gone. Campbell was arrested Wednesday morning and has been charged with attempted murder. His bail is $200,000.
The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
