Man arrested in Springfield after string of robberies at same gas station

The old saying, “The criminal will return the scene of the crime” is apparently true for at least one man.  A man was arrested in Springfield for three different armed robberies at the same gas station.  The local police were keeping a close eye on the Jiffi Stop store because of recent robberies.  The man entered the store armed with a knife and began demanding money.  Upon leaving, he was met by two police officers and surrendered.  He was then taken into custody.
