A man from Decatur abducted an ex-girlfriend after breaking into her apartment. Teron Perry went to the woman’s apartment on Wood Street on August 30th and kicked open her locked door. Once inside, he took her by the hair and began punching her face and back and eventually bit her arm.
Once outside, Perry put the woman in a vehicle and fled the scene. The woman pleaded for him to stop but he told the woman if she wanted out, she would have to jump from a moving vehicle.
When Perry was driving in Decatur, he was recognized by family who caught up to the vehicle and trapped it. Perry then got in a fight with the family members and fled.
Perry was arrested on September 25th in Decatur and is facing nine charges that include: armed violence, home invasion and unlawful restraint. Perry’s bail has been set at $100,000.
