Jeffrey Phillips was taken into custody after police received a call Monday in wake of the threat being made. Sworn statements say that Phillips became agitated and began demanding the employee hand over their phone and began threatening to shoot the employee if the phone was not handed over.
He then reached into one of his pockets but did not remove a firearm. He repeated a demand for the phone and proceeded to threaten to shoot up the bar. Phillips has been charged with disorderly conduct and aggravated robbery and is in Macon County Jail being held on $10,000 bail.
