Travis Stewart is in custody after vandalizing multiple Decatur buildings with spray paint, including the Decatur Police Department. He spray painted the word “traitor” on the glass of the station.
Stewart also wrote the word traitor, or a variation of the word, on other Decatur buildings such as: Heritage Behavioral Health Center, the DMH ENTA building, the Macon County courthouse and Decatur Bicycle Shop. Stewart rode around Sunday night on a bicycle wearing all black and he now will face charges for criminal damage to government property, criminal defacement to property as well as criminal trespassing.
