A Missouri woman is facing charges of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident when she fell asleep at the wheel. Veda Macon of Missouri, was traveling on I-57 when she fell asleep then proceeded to crash into the rear of a semi trailer at around 3 a.m. on Saturday around mile marker 162. Macon was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
