ISP adds fallen Trooper’s name to Memorial Wall

Earlier this week Illinois State Police add Gerald Ellis’ name to the departments Memorial Wall. Dozens of family and friends gathered in Springfield to honor the fallen trooper as his name was placed on the wall. Earlier this year Ellis was killed in an automobile accident on I-94 as he was hit by a driver traveling the wrong way. Ellis was an 11 year veteran of the ISP and is the third trooper this to have died while on duty.
