A suspect from an April drive-by who was facing murder charges has had charges against him dropped.
Tyron Ricks was identified by a victim after a shooting on April 18 on South Jackson Street. A victim of the shooting identified a suspect but has since recanted their story. The victim is wanted for a felony charge that is unrelated to the shooting.
If the witness does not come forward, another man involved in the drive by could also have charges against him dropped. If the witness comes forward or is found, charges could be re-filed against Ricks and help the other case proceed.
