The Statue is dedicated to families who have lost a baby in pregnancy, birth or early childhood.
The first Angel of Hope statue is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was inspired by the book The Christmas Box by Richard Paul Evans. The original was dedicated on December 6, 1994. Since then, the original statue has been joined by nearly 150 other Angel of Hope statues.
