Illinois pro-life Republicans are making efforts to repeal the Reproductive Health Act. Six House Republicans are proposing a bill that would define a live fetus as one that has a heartbeat or a “repetitive rhythmic contraction.”
The Reproductive Health Act gives no independent rights to fertilized eggs, embryos or fetuses.
