A one-year-old is dead after being hit in the chest with a pellet from a pellet gun. The incident happened Monday in a house on the 1400 block of Rosewood Dr. in Champaign. Loryn Brown was pronounced dead at the hospital in Urbana.
Police say the incident was a “sad, unfortunate accident”.
