A 37-year-old man was arrested when officers found him in possession of 56 grams of meth and a 9 mm pistol.
A woman he was with dropped the baggie containing the meth as she exited the vehicle. More meth was found in another baggie in the center console of the vehicle. Officers found the pistol close to the vehicle after stopping the car.
The driver as arrested and booked on preliminary charges of possession of 15-100 grams of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver, armed violence and possession of a firearm of a felon.
