Decatur police have confirmed that a body was found suspended from a bridge around North Monroe Street.
Officers were on the scene around 3 p.m. and the road was promptly closed off to the public. The lanes of North Monroe were blocked by the intersection of Monroe and McKinley.
Police officers do not expect foul play.
