Governor Pritzker’s new tax plan would cost him over $1.5 million in new state income taxes. The governor is a billionaire, three times over, and those tax figures are based off earning of nearly $55 million the governor reported in 2017.
Pritzker, and those who make $250,000 a year or more, would pay almost an 8% tax rate. Meanwhile, those who make less than $250,000 would pay less than 5% in taxes.
