Megadeth has cancelled their opening show of the Illinois State Fair. Front-man Dave Mustaine revealed he has been diagnosed with throat cancer. Mustaine said he is working closely with doctors and has mapped out a treatment plan which his doctors believe has a 90% success rate. He has already begun treatment.
Anyone who had purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will receive an automatic refund. However, people who bought them over the phone or in person at the state fair will need to send in a refund form with their tickets attached.
