Sunday, a man who was on a bike ride down Main Street was shot by a bb gun in the ribs. Decatur police conferred with the man who was hit and they noted a mark on the mans ribs that was consistent with a welt from a bb.
The 54-year-old victim could not confirm the suspect’s identity or gender. He did note seeing the arm of a person coming out of a small silver SUV that was going by.
The Decatur Police are investigating.
