Senate passes gaming expansion

An expansion on gaming is headed to the desk of Governor Pritzker.  Waukegan, Williamson County, Danville, Rockford and Chicago would all be allowed to operate land-based casinos.  The bill would also allow slot machines to be at O’Hare and Midway airports.  Sports betting would be legalized; however, it would still be illegal to bet on Illinois college teams.
