A 19 year-old man was arrested over the weekend while working at a Decatur Autozone after he put a 60-year-old customer in a headlock and proceeded to punch and drag him through one of the aisles.
The man came to the Auto Zone, located on E. Eldorado St., to recycle used oil. The 19 year-old was sent to the back area with the customer to help him. Directly after the two got to the back, the manager said he heard the employee yelling and cursing. The manager then took them both to the front of the store.
The employee then proceeded to get within an inch of the customer’s face and told him to leave the store. The 19-year-old then put him in a headlock.
Upon entering, the 19-year-old threw the oil cans at the man and his son.
The suspect was arrested at the store and booked into the Macon County Jail on Sunday night.
Pending is a preliminary felony charge of aggravated battery to a senior citizen 60 years of age or older.
