A sigh of relief as a student at Clinton High School, who was thought to have contracted mumps, has been cleared of having the disease. It was originally investigated around May 15th when the school administration notified parents as well as students of the possibility that a student might have mumps.
The school district, as well as the Illinois Department of Public Health, worked together on the case.
The principal of Clinton High School has confirmed that the student did not have mumps.
