The five-year old Illinois boy allegedly killed by his parents died from head trauma

The five-year old Illinois boy allegedly killed by his parents died from head trauma due to multiple blunt force injuries.  The McHenry County coroner’s office released its report in the death of Andrew “AJ” Freund  yesterday.  Court documents say his parents allegedly forced him to stay in a cold shower for hours at a time and may have struck him.  Andrew Freund, Senior and Joann Cunningham have been charged with the boy’s murder.  AJ’s body was found in a shallow grave Wednesday in a rural area near Woodstock, Illinois, almost a week after his father reported him missing on April 18th.
