Pre-trial is slated to begin July 11th for the driver accused of hitting and killing Trooper Brooke Jones-Story

A trial date is set for the driver accused of hitting and killing Trooper Brooke Jones-Story.  Pre-trial is slated to begin July 11th for 55-year-old Craig Dittmar.  Illinois State Police say Dittmar was driving a semi March 28th on Route 20 when he lost control and hit Jones-Story, who was inspecting another semi.  He is charged with reckless homicide and operating a commercial motor vehicle while fatigued causing death.
