The flu is still a problem in Illinois. The latest report to the CDC shows that Illinois’ public health managers have dealt with nearly 12 thousand cases so far this flu season. Illinois does not track how many adults have died from the flu, but the state is reporting that one child has passed away after getting sick. Flu season can last until March.
