This week the Decatur Police Department Honored 2 outstanding citizens of Decatur. Timothy Frey and Christopher Urbanowicz were awarded Decatur Police Department Citizens Certificates of Appreciation. Timothy Frey helped police with information near a scene in which a robbery was taking place. Frey hung on the phone and gave in-depth details to the police of the suspects clothing and where-about. Christopher Urbanowicz noticed 2 officers were struggling with a very unruly person that was not cooperating . The police were in need of some help after the suspect was taken to the ground, after disobey many orders and was putting up a real fight. Police asked for Christopher to assist them and he never blinked at the situation. With Christopher help the officers were able to apprehend the suspect.
