(Orlando, FL) — Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is heading to the Pro Bowl this weekend. The signal caller was named to the NFC roster to replace the Rams’ Jared Goff, who is unable to participate because he will play in the Super Bowl. Trubisky becomes the sixth Chicago player this season to be selected to play in the league’s annual all-star game and the first Bears quarterback named to the Pro Bowl since Jim McMahon in 1985. The Pro Bowl will kick off Sunday at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

(London) — The Bears will travel over the pond next season. The NFL announced yesterday that Chicago’s road game against the Oakland Raiders will be played in London. The date, time and venue for the contest will be revealed this spring. It will be the third regular-season game in Bears history played outside the United States and the second in London.

(New York, NY) — The Yankees are giving pitcher Danny Farquhar a chance after he collapsed in the dugout while playing for the White Sox last season. FanCred’s Jon Heyman reports New York has signed the former Chicago reliever to a minor-league deal. Farquhar was hospitalized after suffering a brain hemorrhage during a game at Guaranteed Rate Field on April 20th. He spent two and a half weeks in intensive care before being released from the hospital.
