GOVERNOR-ELECT ALREADY ASKING FOR MORE MONEY

The new Governor hasn’t taken office yet and he is already asking lawmakers to let him spend more money. Governor-elect J.B Pritzker says he needs to pay his top staffers more to recruit the best and brightest for jobs in state government. Democratic lawmakers yesterday said they were inclined to give Pritzker the money.
