(Tempe, AZ) — D.J. Swearinger is coming back to Arizona. Days after being waived by the Washington Redskins for criticizing their defensive coordinator, the Cardinals have claimed his rights. Swearinger played for Arizona for part of 2015 and all of 2016. He started 31 games for Washington over the past two years and was named a Pro Bowl alternate this season.

After meeting with doctors last month, Fultz was diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome. Fultz was the first overall draft pick in 2017. He’s played in just 33 games in his year-plus career.
