People are betting more money in Illinois, but not necessarily in the state’s casinos. A new report from the state’s Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability says video gaming is driving the growth in the state’s gaming dollars. The report says video poker and other machines generated about a-billion-and-a-half-dollars last year. Local governments made 70-million-dollars from those video gambling machines.
