Jury Convicts Pawnee Man For Murdering Girlfriend 

A Pawnee man could face up to 60 years in prison for murdering his girlfriend.  A jury found Wesley Carey guilty yesterday of first-degree murder after he stabbed Nicole Maxey several times at a Pawnee apartment building in January 2016.  Maxey died soon after at the hospital.  Carey, who is in his late twenties, will learn his prison sentence in January.
